ALTERNATIVE TRAINING FOR THOSE WHO HATE TO TRAIN

POSSIBLE REASONS WHY PEOPLE ARE NOT EXERCISING:

In these times of ubiquitous smartphones and easy-to-find Internet connections, more and more people are getting into the habit of not training. In fact, some estimates suggest that as many as one-third of Indians do not engage in formal exercise, despite the health risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle. These statistics can be a bit alarming for those who rely on their fitness regimen to maintain a healthy frame. Why is it that so many people have begun to give up fitness regimens? Why is it that many people have begun to hate training?

One of the first reasons may be a simple lack of time on a person's part. With so many daily responsibilities in life, many people find that they have no time to devote to fitness. Work often takes up the bulk of the day, with commuting and household chores making up most of what remains. When you add in the time spent relaxing after work, dining out with friends, and general downtime throughout the day, there are not many hours left in which to squeeze in an intensive workout regimen.

One solution to not having enough time to train is to alter your routine so that you can squeeze it in no matter what. An easy way to accomplish this goal is to take advantage of what are known as high-intensity interval workouts. These are short, quick workouts that can be done several times within a week. This style of training keeps the heart rate up throughout the entire workout, ensuring that there is no room for laziness or slacking off. Some examples of these types of workouts include cycling on a stationary bike for ten minutes at a time, sprinting for one minute and then jogging for two minutes, or performing exercises like squats or lunges for 25 seconds each before letting your body rest one minute.

Another reason that some people dislike exercising is due to their poor physical condition. If you are out of shape and your body is not used to the strain of a workout, doing even a few minutes of exercise can feel like torture. This is particularly true for those who decide to try and rush into a full workout without building up their stamina first. Instead of taking several weeks or months to work up to a full workout, they leap into the deep end without knowing how to swim. As a result, they quickly grow tired out and give up.

Another way around this problem may be by using what are called pyramid training routines. These workouts start off with short periods of killing yourself that gradually get longer as the body adjusts over time.

Exercise enthusiasts are fond of counting the number of repetitions that they can perform in their workout routines. Sometimes, even more, times are added to the end of the session to get the most bang for your buck out of every workout. This approach is ideal for those who want to get the maximum benefit out of every workout session.

A final reason that people may give up on their fitness regimens is that they hate how the workouts make them feel. Some people hate the sweating, stinky smell that accompanies a workout. Others despise how sore their muscles become after a workout. Some people despise the person that they become when they are overweight. They hate the frustration that goes along with being unable to fit into normal clothes. They also hate the time that they waste every day wondering what they could be doing if they were not consumed by the monotony of the gym and the endless workout routine.

DO PEOPLE REALLY HATE EXERCISING?

Believe it or not, exercise is one of the most commonly hated activities. People often associate exercising with pain, effort, and physical exertion. For some people, it's simply too much trouble to get up early for an intense workout at the gym while for others they don't know where to start or what to do while still more people just don't like the idea of spending hours every day working on their bodies when there are so many other things that can be done. These misgivings come from several places but one common theme is that exercise is seen as a chore rather than an opportunity to improve quality of life and live longer. The healthy living community has been hard at work trying to educate people about the amazing benefits of exercise and that's great, but here's the dirty little secret: exercise is also fun and rewarding.

There is a very real need to change the way we think about exercise and fitness. If we want people to get off their butts and get active we can't tell them all of the reasons why it's horrible, physically painful, and why they should avoid it. Instead, we need to capture their imagination with all of the amazing things they will be able to do if they just get active. This isn't just something we want to say, we actually need to show people what they can do and help them see why exercise is so important.

Fitness and Exercise – What's the difference?

If you've ever used a gym membership or fitness center you know there are a lot of things that go into making your workout experience great. The equipment, the staff, and even the layout of the room all play big roles in how effective your workout will be. The truth is that these things aren't all that important when it comes to getting in shape. In fact, most people can't tell the difference between an effective and ineffective workout and they're not going to know anything different until they see it for themselves. While this might sound like an excuse for bad facilities, it isn't. It's simply a statement of fact that most people don't know what it means to have an effective workout. A good example of this is weightlifting. Most people who are unfamiliar with lifting weights tend to be worried about getting big muscles or accidentally injuring themselves in the weight room. This is why they prefer to use cardio equipment instead of free weights. However, when they finally get into the weight room and experience how effective free weights can be, they see that all of their worries were completely unfounded and that lifting weights is actually very safe and something anyone can do at any age.

The same holds true with cardio equipment. Most people who are unfamiliar with using cardio equipment tend to stick with the basic machines that don't require much skill or coordination, but after they experience how effective these devices can be they find that it's not as hard as they thought and that there's a much broader range of equipment available than they originally realized. They also find that their workout can be very effective for burning fat, building muscle, losing weight, gaining power, improving stamina, increasing endurance, relieving stress, and so on. So if you are working out at home or in a small local fitness center you will likely have many of these things to work with. However, if you go to a larger facility you will find that the equipment they have is more sophisticated and that they have added amenities such as free weights, possibly weight training for beginners, and even professional fitness trainers.

Yet another benefit is the fact that machines don't always do a good job of working out your core and upper body. This isn't by design; it's simply because they were originally designed to help people lose weight and most people use them instead of free weights. However, lifting free weights can also be very beneficial for improving your shape, gaining strength, sculpting muscles, exercising balance, building bone density in your spine and shoulder joints while helping relieve tension from injuries or from chronic physical ailments such as arthritis or back pain.

Over time, a person can become very comfortable with a gym or a home exercise program because they have been exposed to so many different exercises and the equipment available. There have been so many different types of machines designed to achieve different goals and you will very rarely ever see anyone's machine being used in isolation from the others. Most people know that if they want to do a simple bicep curl they will need to use chest press equipment with an adjustable bench and chest support for the machine to work properly. However, most people don't think about this when they go into a gym or bodybuilding center because their experience has been that each machine is used in isolation from the other machines. If you've decided to give bodybuilding a try and you want to go beyond the basics and train with free weights, you might need to look at many different types of equipment before you can find one that is designed to work well for your specific goals.
